Huge Blow: Warriors fans receive bad news involving talented star player

The Golden State Warriors have been evaluating several NBA free agents in preparation for training camp. This is a typical strategy for teams, and the Warriors have utilized it in recent years to identify potential candidates for their roster.

Phoenix Suns Cut Former Trail Blazers Forward Nassir Little - Blazer's Edge

In a recent piece, Anthony Slater of The Athletic mentioned that five-year NBA veteran Nassir Little was one of the players the Warriors brought in for a workout.

On September 19, Slater reported, “Justin Holiday and Nassir Little, league sources told The Athletic, are among the experienced wings who have visited San Francisco in recent weeks.”

Little played for the Phoenix Suns last season, participating in 45 games.

In a report on Monday, Chris Haynes from Bleacher Report revealed that Nassir Little has signed a one-year contract with the Miami Heat.

According to Haynes: “Free agent wing Nassir Little has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Miami Heat, league source tells me.”

Nassir Little spent his first four NBA seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, where he played in 192 games (34 starts). At just 24 years old, he was a first-round pick by Portland in the 2019 NBA draft.

The details of the contract were not disclosed by Haynes, so it’s possible the deal isn’t fully guaranteed. Regardless, this presents a great opportunity for the young forward in Miami.
