Head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs currently hold the No. 4 recruiting class in the nation. The team is continually seeking elite edge rushers like Javion Hilson to bolster their defensive lineup.
Javion Hilson, a Florida State Seminoles decommit, plans to visit several college football programs this fall, including the Georgia Bulldogs. Hilson, a top pass rusher in the 2025 class, is ranked as the second-best edge rusher in the nation and the 34th overall recruit, according to 247Sports. He is also rated as the sixth-best prospect in Florida and is close to earning a five-star rating.
Hilson, who plays for Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida—a highly competitive high school football program—stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 235 pounds. This fall, he intends to visit Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M, and Syracuse. He will be attending the Texas A&M vs. Florida game this weekend.
