Iowa Hawkeye defensive coach Phil Parker has reason to be pleased  as one of the nation’s top cornerbacks has pledged to the University of Iowa.

A standout cornerback from Oakdale, Connecticut, has committed to Iowa, as reported by Hawk Fanatic. He chose Iowa over a strong field of competitors including Notre Dame, Penn State, Wisconsin, Rutgers, and Tennessee, made the announcement official on social media on Monday.

Recruiting analyst Tom Lemming told Hawk Fanatic that the top star has the potential to be an outstanding cornerback at Iowa, stating, “The kid is almost like a lock. If he’s got the work ethic and Parker as his coach, he could be a number one draft pick. He’s that good.”
