The Texas Tech team is adding another impressive player to its 2024-25 roster with the signing of a standout from Tandil, Argentina, as announced by head coach Michael Breler on Wednesday morning.
He has had a notable junior and professional career leading up to his signing, recording 15 singles victories this year alone in futures tournaments. He holds a career-high ATP singles ranking of 1611 and a career-best ITF singles ranking of 423.
In 2024, Pagnacco secured significant wins against ITF No. 11 Maximilian Figl, ITF No. 225 Tadeo Meneo, and ITF No. 83 Luciano Carraro. He advanced from the qualifying draw of the Tucuman 25k and won a match in the main draw against Franco Roncadelli, who has a career-high ATP ranking of 357 and a career-high ITF ranking of 6.
Additionally, Pagnacco made it through the qualifying rounds of both the Quillota 15k and the Santiago 15k, accumulating a total of six singles wins across the two tournaments.
Pagnacco will join the Red Raiders this fall and has three years of eligibility remaining.
