BREAKING: ‘This is sad’ Giants fans confirm more bad news ahead of fixture

The Giants have ruled out kicker  for Sunday’s game against the Commanders, as he was listed in their final injury report of the week. He’ll be sidelined for at least three additional games due to an abdomen injury after being placed on injured reserve on Saturday.

To fill the kicking role against Washington, the Giants are promoting Jude McAtamney from the practice squad. This change is a welcome one after their earlier loss to the Commanders, where Graham Gano, who was already injured, was knocked out on the opening kickoff, preventing the team from attempting any extra points or field goals in their 21-18 defeat.

McAtamney has yet to play in a regular season game. Originally from Northern Ireland, he transitioned from Gaelic football to kicking at Rutgers.

To replace Joseph on the roster, the Giants are signing linebacker Tomon Fox from the practice squad. You can find a preview of the upcoming Giants-Commanders game and the Week Nine schedule here.
