The Georgia Bulldogs are in relatively good health heading into their game against Mississippi State. Pass rusher Mykel Williams has been removed from the SEC injury report, which is a positive sign for the team.
Currently, only five players are listed on the injury report, but three starters may miss the game. Center Jared Wilson is improving but is not yet taking full-load reps. Coach Kirby Smart mentioned, “Jared’s better than he was, but he’s not at full capacity yet.”
Georgia will also be without wide receiver Colbie Young, who has been suspended indefinitely, and defensive lineman Christen Miller, who seemed to have been banged up during the Auburn game, is expected to play after practicing this week.
Defensive lineman Jordan Hall is still recovering from stress fractures in both legs and is making progress, but Smart indicated that he may not be ready for this week’s game. Meanwhile, linebacker Smael Mondon, who was seen on crutches during the Auburn game, is likely out for an extended period. The Bulldogs are also missing running back Roderick Robinson and offensive lineman Tate Ratledge, both recovering from major surgeries.
