At 28 years old, Draisaitl scored 106 points (41 goals, 65 assists) in 81 games last season and added 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in the playoffs, where the Oilers lost in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers.
Over his career, Draisaitl has accumulated 850 points (347 goals, 503 assists) in 719 games since being drafted third overall by the Oilers in the 2014 NHL Draft. His new contract will start with the 2025-26 season and extend through the 2032-33 season.
