A three-star tight end, committed to LSU, the player announced on social media.
According to the 247Sports composite, Tyler is the No. 31 tight end and No. 597 player in the nation among players in the Class of 2025. At Hammond High School in Columbia, South Carolina, he plays as the state’s top player, ranking No. 12.
He chose the Tigers over South Carolina, NC State, Duke, and West Virginia.
Addison Tyler, a four-star recruit, is the second tight end to pledge to the 2025 class. He’s also the sixth pass-catcher and the 23rd player to pledge to the Tigers.
This summer, the Tigers have recruited 12 members of the Class of 2025, four of whom have committed this month. Before Tyler made his choice, LSU’s most recent pledge was defensive lineman Dilan Battle, a three-star prospect.
Prior to Tyler’s announcement on Saturday, LSU had the third-best recruiting class in the country.
